We really need the actual DMP file.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

To test your memory

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Let us know if you need assistance

Ken

Start out by removing AsusUpdate, in Programs and Features.

Next, install these ATI drivers: https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/10-8_vista64_win7_64_dd.exe

Remove Daemon Tools Lite, as it is known to cause BSODs. Then, uninstall SPTD with this tool: http://www.duplexsecure.com/download/SPTDinst-v172-x64.exe

Install this Realtek driver: Realtek

Install this JMicron driver: ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/XP_Vista_Win7/JMB36X_WinDrv_R1.17.58_WHQL.zip

Install this Linksys driver: http://homedownloads.cisco.com/downloads/driver/WUSB600Nv2-Win7_3.0.10.0.zip

I ran the dump for the heck of it, not much I see other than what I posted before. Time will tell.

A c21a crash is the hardest to analyze, because it will fail to create a dump file as frequently as it will create one. Given you have no dump files, this is probably csrss.exe crashing (usually if lsass or winlogon crash, you can get a dump - if csrss crashes, it's 50/50 depending on the state of the system at the time of the crash). Unfortunately, without data to analyze, we can only speculate what is running that's causing it to crash on bootup. Does it happen if you boot into safe mode as well?

If this is a new PC, and you've reinstalled Windows a few times, I'd just return it as defective and get a new one. The fact it only happens on a cold boot would indicate it's probably a hardware issue.
