BSOD During Booting-up ...

Hey guys, I need help on this issue,

During starting up on my computer, when it was about to boot up, a BSOD screen appears. I could only access to Windows after the reset. This occurs alternately.

Usually the error code reads 0x00000001e, but I've came across other variants of these. I suspect this could be my processor problem as such incidences had been cropping up when I was using WinXP previously, before doing a fresh install of 7, as mentioned below.

I'm using Windows 7 x64 OEM, just had it upgraded from XP last September, even though the system is quite old (Purchased Dec 2007).

Your nVidia video card drivers are 10 months out of date:

I suspect the drivers are the issue, so let's start with that.

Thanks alot for your quick response bro!

I actually downloaded the new driver last night, but after installing and rebooting, it seemed to run fine.

But it crashed this morning again, with the same code error. Moreover, prior to boot-up, the BIOS gave 1 long and 1 short beep before shutting down involuntarily. Managed to get it up again by luck later .

Perhaps reinstalling Win 7 might just do the trick? Thanks in advance!

You may try removing the drivers completely with Driver Sweeper and installing a fresh copy.
