BSOD during flash video stop:0x000000F4

I recently put together a new system a few weeks ago, which works fine except for the occasional hang/bsod, which I've noticed happens only when I have some type of flash/streaming video running. I think I've experienced this crash about 7-8 times now in the last 3 weeks, which is a bit disconcerting.

The exact error symptoms:

Programs that are power-heavy (like games, the video in question, video rendering software, etc.) freeze immediately.
Whenever I try to close them using the red X in the upper right, there is no response, from there or from the right click -> close in taskbar.
Programs with smaller footprints still function in the background - cpu monitors, voip programs, etc.
When I hit ctrl + alt + delete, the default windows background comes up and a message appears: "Preparing Security Options ... " and hangs for a very long time.
Generally, I hit the power button now, but I have waited it out (for 10+ minutes) and a BSOD pops up with the message- "stop: 0x000000F4" and some other letters that I've since lost the paper I scribbled it on.
If I attempt to restart the computer instantly, the computer freezes at the motherboard BIOS screen. Only after a hard shut down, a little wait, then can the computer be truly restarted.

Steps I've taken (or attempted) to fix this issue:

Updated all drivers.
Updated Adobe flash player (since it seems to happen only when flash video is playing)
Attempted to update firmware for my SSD (people have pointed to an SSD issue for similar crashes), but sadly I cannot since it is the home partition for Windows.

I would appreciate any assistance on this matter, thanks.

PS - I was rendering a video during the performance report(s), which is why it says vegas is taking up a lot of CPU resources. Also, I have no idea what the corrupt device is. I checked and there wasn't anything that I didn't know of sticking out of my computer.

no minidumps seem to be included, can you check the contents of c:\windows\minidump to see if any files are located there (upload them as well if so)

If the folder doesn't exist or is currently empty please do this to make sure we have a dump file to check to work with after your next crash.
The report alone isn't going to offer a concrete answer in something causing so many things to crash.
To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header
Select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Sorry, there is no minidump folder and the settings are as you described.

Update: I just recently experienced the crash again, however, this time it happened with no flash video active. Apparently it was just a coincidence that I had one running the other times (strange, as I don't really use them all that often.)

I checked whether there's a minidump folder created again, but alas, it is still missing. Furthermore, the system hanged enough that I couldn't even get to the "Preparing Security Options ..." screen with ctrl alt del.

Sorry without a minidump I would just be making random guesses here.
