BSOD during login.

My laptop shut itself off due to high temperature. When I rebooted it, everything seemed fine until I got to the log-in screen. I punch in my password, the little blue swirl spins for a bit then, you guessed it, BSOD.

Am I'm not sure what's causing it. Recently, my computer has been locking up on me and I thought I got rid of the cause (IOBIT Advanced System Care) because it hasn't locked up since that was uninstalled. Maybe it's some kind of driver issue? I have no idea.

I'm the only one who uses this computer.

Keep less stuff at the start-up. Only anti-virus, this helps avoid driver conflicts and improves time to log in to windows.

Thanks for your reply.
Before you posted that however, I decided to just reinstall
my OS and start fresh.

Everything seemed to be going fine until everything locked up. I manually shut down my computer and now Windows won't even start. It takes me to the windows recovery tool, then tells me that it can't automatically fix the problem.

Hooboy. What have I done?

Since the whole system got written over, does this mean that it's a hardware issue?
