If these BSODs seem random... meaning there were no driver/software/hardware updates prior to these BSODs... I would check the heat from the GPU... spray it out with canned air to help move the air around a bit.

Hi crazy621,
Welcome to SF,

I play DoTA and got the same error due to erroneous drivers.

1.Even if you have updated your display drivers, try and reinstall them.
2. Revert back to a previous version..
3.My friend, unexpectedly, got this error from sound card drivers. Though you have them on board, try to reinstall them too.

Revert back here.

Thanks for the responses so far. The error seems to be coming from dxgmms1.sys every time.

It happens randomly in WoW... at first it happened when I was doing some PvP... then I did some updates and reinstalled some drivers and it left me play for a few hours and then BOOM happened as I was turning a corner in Durnholde Keep on my 66 Druid.

I'm at a loss. I'm somewhat computer savvy so this infuriates me as I cannot seem to fix it.

Have you run any system cleaners after you had the last BSOD and before you posted the report? There are no BSOD dump files in the report. The next time the system crashes, go to C:/minidump and upload that file here.

For time time being, you can run a stress test on your video card. Download a program like Speedfan to monitor your temps. If they start to get really high end the test.

No dmp files included in upload try this method.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Yeah, Spot On..!
This works as a last resort, if this happens on other games also.

I made the changes recommended but for some reason I am not even able to see my Windows folder at the moment and when I search for the minidump folder, it comes up showing no reports inside it.

Any suggestions there? I have loaded WoW up in an attempt to make it BSOD again to get a fresh new report to copy. ALSO if you look at my first post, you will see that I had copied and pasted the codes and parameters from my last BSOD.

Let me know if those will help or if you still need more.

That only helps a little bit. There is a lot more information we can get from the system dumps

I'm going to just reinstall Windows 7 and go from there. None of these issues started happening until after I had installed Starcraft II. If I run into BSOD again after the fresh install, I will pick back up here and see what else I can do.
