I've gotten this BSOD twice, but neither a Minidump folder or MEMORY.dmp were created under C:/Windows. I had kernel dump set as default, and when I changed to minidump I still couldn't find the folder (I have hidden files and folders shown).

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
STOP:0x0000007A
Every time it mentioned dxgkrnl.sys

This happened very recently and I've been trying to recreate the crash. It seems to happen after a short time (maybe 30 minutes- 1 hour) playing a game or simply playing a graphics intensive game, or a combination of both.

The third time my screen just froze and instead of going into BSOD the screen (game) graphics were completely jarred (hard to describe), extremely similar to this image: http://utopia.duth.gr/~ve5822/pics/TITLEPIC_SCRAMBLED.png

Hi kernelerror and welcome to seven forums.

There are no dump files in the zip to analyze.

Configure dumps

First, we want to make sure the computer is saving your dump files. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Startup and Recovery [Settings] Make sure that "Write Debugging Information" is set to Small Memory Dump (256kb) if it is not already.
Next, make sure that the folder C:\Windows\Minidump exists. If not, create it (allow permission if asked). Make sure any dumps you want to analyze, whether yours or others', are in this folder. You can ZIP/RAR the files and send them to someone else to analyze as well.

If you are overclocking any hardware, STOP. Reset any changed values back to default.

Avira can be a cause of BSOD's, please remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials to see if it provides more stability. Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software. Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes are recommended from a strict BSOD perspective. They do not cause blue screens on the system as other AV products do.
