Hi all

My PC a Envy 14 2010 make has got a BSOD 2 months ago. Every time I turned on wifi or put in a LAN cable when it shuts down it gives me a BSOD caused by driver state failure. It is OEM and was pre-installed 2 years ago with the laptop.

Welcome to SevenForums.

Your BSODs were caused by the HP Disk Filter (hpdskflt.sys). You should update/remove it.

I deleted the driver but there were two that i couldn't delete. I turned off the computer and it took 6minutes so I manually turned it off by pressing the power button. Then i turned it on agian and IT asked if i want to go to recovery mode. I selected normal boot up and when the 4 windows points were coming together it crashed and gave me BSOD. After that I choose Startup Repair and it couldn't find a solution. I couldn't see the BSOD cause it was so quick. No what do I do?

Looks like either a corrupt installation or either failing hardware. Boot in safemode with networking (if possible) and run SFC http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

I have tried to boot with safe mode but it stops booting when it reaches Driver/CLASSPNP.SYS. I can also tell you that the BSOD error is 0x0000007b.

Thanks for your support
