Recommend updating your BIOS from your vendor's site if it is not a custom built computer, or from your motherboard site if you built it or bought it from someone other than a vendor (vendors include Dell, HP, Sony, Toshiba, etc.).

Update your display driver (nvlddmkm.sys nVidia driver) as follows:

1. Download and install Driver Sweeper
2. Download the latest driver for your display card
3. Click Start Menu
4. Right Click My Computer
5. Click Manage
6. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
7. Click the + next to Display adapter
8. Right click your display/graphics card device
9. Click Uninstall
10. Check the box to Delete driver software for the device
11. Click OK
12. Restart your computer in safe mode
13. Run Driver Sweeper, select display card manufacturer's drivers, analyze, clean
14. Restart your computer
15. Install the latest drivers

Also, update all Realtek drivers, especially Realtek 10/100/1000 NDIS 5.1 Driver (Rtnicxp.sys)

See Driver Reference for driver info.

Hi,

I started to update all the drivers Realtek but I couldn't update the driver display card because I had already the latest version from the scan drivers.

I didn't find any update for the BIOS on my Packard Bell.
There is no update on the website of the manufacturer Packard Bell.
Version of my BIOS: NEC COMPUTERS INTERNATIONAL GA-8I915PM

Thanks

Just because you have the latest version of the driver for your display card does not mean that it installed properly. You may have a corrupted install. Do the steps listed in my previous post to uninstall any corrupted display drivers and re-install the latest driver.

As for your BIOS, it appears that your computer is no longer supported. If you continue to have issues, contact Packard Bell and maybe they can direct you in getting an BIOS update.

Good weekend

If your system is stable, the BIOS update is no longer necessary. :) I'm really glad you were able to get it fixed. Best wishes!
