BSOD Error 101 - Launching Borderlands Pre sequel

Hey Guys,

My PC is Blue screening every time I try and launch borderlands the pre sequel.

I've tested everything I can think of and swapped out the graphics cards.

I've just reformatted this pc with a clean install of windows 7

I've load tested the CPU and GPU and well as temp monitored both

CPU - Max 38 degrees
GPU - Max 42 Degrees

I haven't overclocked at all - everything from Bios to chips is running as standard

This is doing my head in and I've spent 3 days trying to trouble shoot everything.

I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

The zip file doesn't contain any BSOD .dmp files .

Follow this to ensure Windows 7 is configured to create .dmp files - choose OPTION 6 Minidump

Now update Windows 7 completely. If you get a BSOD after updating post the new ZIP file.

all updates have been run and still crashes. This one shows as a 124 which I believe means over temp - however, nothing in there is hot.

I've checked that there is a .dmp file in the attachment now.

You need to stress test the major components. Do all of these as instructed in the tutorials, and report back.

Colin, hope you don't mind mate but I just spotted a Gigabyte crapware alert.

Might be worth getting rid of that and testing out before running the hardware tests?

mattyg : please remove all Gigabyte application first, then reboot and monitor for BSOD's.
