Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Not original OS
Full retail version

- What is the age of system (hardware): Little less than a year
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?): OS reinstalled less than 3 months ago

Have been getting regular bsod errors which happens once or twice withing an hour. Happens sometimes while playing playing games like World of Warcraft etc., listening to music,alt-tabbing through applications, running programs and always when i try restarting my pc. Happens randomly and sometimes no .sys errors show at bsod screen just codes like 000x34b <---stuff like that.

have add the necessary files and pc info under "my system specs"

Hope there is a way to resolve it without reformatting because thats my last resort.

Thanks alot and appreciate the help. :) :D

Hello Tristar, Welcome to SF!

It looks like you've not updated your system for a long time or something went wrong when you did. Some drivers that should be updated to the right W7 compatible version, have not been updated.

HTML:
secdrv.SYS Wed Sep 13 15:18:38 2006
msrpc.sys unavailable (00000000)
vmstorfl.sys unavailable (00000000)
etc

A lot of system files are still from halfway 2009 and could/should have been updated by now. Please check your windows update(s and settings)
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/24367-windows-update-view-update-history-details.html

The history of the machine + the large amount of dumps suggests that the W7 install is not enough by itself. You need to check W7 compatibility of all HW and get latest drivers from the manufacturer(s) of that HW....

My two cents :)

The most of your minidumps point to memory_corruption.

So also please follow these steps in this order,

Uninstal avast using the ininstall Utility avast! Uninstall Utility

Download and install MSE Anti-Malware, Virus, Spyware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials

Run a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

-----------------------
Post back wth any results.

Alright i have removed avast and installed the MSE program u have mentioned. Also i ran Regestry booster and got rid of alot of bsod errors except for one called win32k.sys which i assume it has something to do with my ram. Hence ram the memory test and found 50% errors, so im guessing one of my rams could be faulty. So going to run tst on one at a time and check again. thanks again all for your help, and will post the outcome as soon as its done.

Also just to let you'll know, whenever i run windows updater after it gets completed with the downloading and when it starts to installl, i always get an error, hence cant update either.

Alright guys just to once again thank all of u who helped me.
Found out what the problem was and its causes were due to a faulty Ram. Came to know after running memtest86.
Gonna get it replaced asap and hope all runs as smooth as it should.

Saying this i proclaim this post solved :D
