Hi Roy, Thank you for helping me.

I was not able to update windows (fails all other update even after install the KB971033 ) then I found a solution. I did a clean boot, then I was able to update everything without any problem. I also uninstall Avast, and Asus suite II that I installed when I built the PC because it comes with the MOBO (by the way my PC suddenly becomes really fast after uninstalled the Asus Suite II).

I have had no BSOD as I am writing to you. Fingers crossed and knock on woods! I think it might be because of Windows update and some conflict between Asus suite II.

One thing for sure, the clean boot really makes my PC starts much faster. Should I keep this clean boot or should I restart and make a full boot with all services?

You could decide which services to reenable. Some of them you may need: for example, there might be a service needed in order for your scanner to stay ready to scan. Probably a lot of them you don't need. Re-enable one or two at a time, reboot, and then work for a while, to see if things slow down or if the BSODs resume. If these problems arises, then you know what the culprit is -- one of the services you just restarted. If you find the culprit, disable that service.

Hi BSODW7,

Update the BIOS to version 2603.

If updating doesn't work, I suspect the problem lies with the CPU or the liquid cooler.

A brief description on all crashes.
- The 0x124 crashes, they are most common and appear to all report the same problem which is an error with executing instructions on core 4 with the level 1 cache.
- The other crashes, each of them reporting different causes (chipset drivers, security program, audio drivers), basically indicating a hardware problem due to the variety of the crashes.

It's updated, but it has difficulty to start (Not start at all or started says Overclock failed, but I don't even overclock), Then I went into Bios and advanced mode to load default setting, and windows started, but freezed, then I restart again and make windows examine what is wrong then now it starts. Not sure if I need to adjust something to make windows starts. (My SATA is set to ACHI)

In that case it may be the socket of the motherboard, which would mean the motherboard needs replacement.

Hi guys, hi Axe0 and Roy,

It has been almost 3 days that my computer doesn't crash or crash into BSOD. It has some program crashes, but no other sign of BSOD and the system runs extremely stable and smooth! FASTER than before!

I keep the Clean Boot because I don't need any other things but certain programs on this computer that I can start manually.

Let me report back in a week and see if everything is stable.

Thank you guys so much!

A recap of what I did:
- updated all windows update. (My windows update was disabled)
- after all updates, I did a clean boot
- Updated the Bios to the most recent one.
- update again all windows update.

Now it runs like new! It's almost even the same speed as my new computer which is an i7 7700k. (this old one is AMD Fx8350). I did windows boot test, my AMD Fx8350 is only 2 seconds behind i7 7700k to boot into windows.

Thanks guys again.
