Solved BSOD even idle

[BSODW7]

Hi guys,

My first post here.

I have been experiencing BSOD very often recently. I thought it's because of my CPU temp because the fan was constantly loud. I bought a liquid cooler, installed it with a new CPU (the same AMD Fx8350 but just new because the old one stuck onto the heatsink and I couldn't get it to seperate).

So here is the story of my BSOD:
At the beginning with the old CPU and old ventilation, whenever I was working on the music program (Cubase or Studio one) and When it gets heavily loaded, the BSOD appears and I had to wait for it to cool down.

Then I decided to get a liquid cooler with new CPU.

Now the computer goes into BSOD or random restart even on IDLE.

Anyone can help me with this?

I run a check on a program whocrashedit apparently it's a lot to do with Hal.dll.

Your graphics card might be bad. I had an overheating graphics card once which kept causing my computer to crash. When I replaced the graphics card, the crashes stopped.

I used Speedfan to check the temperatures. (www.speedfan.net)

Hi Thanks! I will give it a try when I find a graphic card. It is true sometimes the graphic card is blowing really hot air but it was when I am playing games. Curiously it never crashes when I play Steam games like Dota2.

However, this happens when I am not even playing games or anything. It just BSOD on me randomly even it's Idle.

BTW I run the speedfan and the temp1 is 39c, Temp2 36c, temp3 -128c(wierd number??), HD 44c, HD1 38C, GPU 40c, Core 20C.

Hi I got it legit from my college. It was through the download of Microsoft official education website.
I stopped the updating because a couple month ago the Windows wannacry ransomeware update, it crashed my computer and I had to reinstall.

I am doing update now and see if it solves the problem.

Good stuff, however im pretty sure there gonna fail
There's an order that needs to be followed
installing this update 1st, KB971033 (then reboot), may speed up the process.
If it does not then
as its a volume licence your college will have purchased 'X' licences if that number has been exceeded then you will have to contact them.

note once updates start it will also include ALL drivers as well
give it a couple of days to settle and if the BSOD's continue repost new BSOD logs
