BSOD every 10-15 minutes, error 0x000000f4

Ok, thx Arc and ICit2lol, i'll do that. Jus for curiosity I reconected the blueray and in less than 5 minutes I got the BOSD, right now it is disconected and everything goes ok now. So I will try to do what you guys told me to update

Hi Arc, I dowloaded from msi support an automatic update tool, and this is what I update

Is that what you told me to do? Do I need to do something else?

Install the second one only, the AMD Chipset Drivers.

If you are aware of the procedure of BIOS update (and the associated risk), only then go for the BIOS update. Otherwise not.

The other updates (utilities) are not necessary.

Ok I just cancelled the other ones, I'm dowloading the chipset drivers, that would be all I have to update? After that can I reconect the blueray for testing again?

Hello again, a new thing happen; I told you before that everything was ok since I disconnected the blueray unit but yesterday I was downloading the files to update and suddenly all my programs got an error and one by one they were close and the pc reboot automatically and I have again to turn it on in safe mode then restart normally in order to be able to use the pc again.

Today it happens again and I took with my phone a photo of the screen

Looking on internet I just read that E/S failures are the most dangerous things that can be in a hard drive it is true? do I have to return my ssd for guarantee?

Ok mate run these in safe mode and use some of the options in Option 2 in chkdsk if necessary.

ICit2lol: bro I just did what you told me too and these were the results:

SFC scan in safe mode

(no integrity infractions)

CHKDISK in safe mode

When I tried to check it in elevated command prompt it said that the scan would be done the next time I restart the system. So I did it and I took a photo of the results with my phone

Windows has checked the system files and there werent's founds issues.

last week I made a system restore and everything seems to be normal again, so I thought it was an update or maybe a program incompatibility but since a couple of days ago I have this error, the weird thing is that is different error at first it was 0xf4 now is a 0xf7, any thoughts?

jjs sorry about the very late reply mate ok so if you think it is an update problem then I suggest you set your updates to let you know they are available but let you choose which to install or Hide if you do not want them see my pic as I have mine set.

Try using a different driver,

Uninstall your installed latest version of the display driver.

Then clean up any possible leftover.

• Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling

Then install version 13.9 WHQL only.

I gave up ad made a security erase of the ssd Knowles I'm trying to install windows again but in the first step it saya that I have to select the driver I want to install..
Now I dont have an O.S and I'm writting from me phone.

JJS mate if you have access to another machine at all try this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html make sure of the language and the version for which you have an activation code don't try say putting on Ultimate when the original is Home as it will cause all sots of problems.
See my pic - it is only for example and you must choose the right language.
So when you boot with that ISO in it will automatically do the necessary stuff for an install. Then we can get into any issues after.
This way too on store made machine gets rid of all the bloatware. By the by I hope you have made a back up of any data you required first as it will now be lost.

Just out of curiosity when you say you did a security erase of the drive just what is that as I know of only two ways that I would do that?? One is the diskpart clean all and the other the drive wipe with Partition Wizard.

You shouldn't need a driver, start the install over,

During installation, once the Languages screen opens, do this:

1. Press SHIFT+F10 - a cmd window will open
2. Type diskpart and hit enter
3. Type list disk and hit enter
4. Type select disk # and hit enter - # = the disk number you wish to clean/format
5. Type clean and hit enter

Once complete (its quick) close the Window and continue with installation.
