Hey guys, having an irritating issue.

My computer keeps restarting every 30 minutes or so I don't physically see the bluescreen but it informs me it does bluescreen when I boot up again.

Anyways, this just started happening yesterday and I would love some help on solving this.

I'm hoping its fixable but I have a feeling I'm going to have to buy some new hardware :(.

Q6600 2.4ghz stock
Asrock mobo
4gb corsair ram
msi 560 ti gfx

Alright so, I'm going to upload this fast before it crashes again if any additional information is needed please let me know. Temps are in the 20's so thats fine, hope software not hardware related.

ANY help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!!

thanks so much

What you're getting is a TDR116 (Timeout Detection Error) error from your GPU which failed to respond in time, thus crashing the driver and subsequently the whole OS. This can be caused by multiple factors including defective RAM/GPU or corrupt drivers. Reinstall your Nvidia driver but make sure only the Display Driver and PhysX are selected.

20C is pretty good, that rules out overheating and leaves us with either a GPU-related issue or defective RAM.

Run a Video Memory Test with OCCT and test your RAM

Appreciate the reply. I tried doing memtest last night but my computer still restarts every 30mins even while running that.. Didn't have any errors in that short time though. Also that graphic card I've had to rma it 4 times in the past 2 and a half years..... It's crazy. When I get home I'll try install fresh drivers if it still happens I suppose I'll look for my old video card to see if its the 560 ti failing again... If not all that's left is the ram right?

Thanks

Crashing during memtest86 suggests a hardware error, mostly likely defective RAM.

Well, I opened my case and noticed on the graphics card there was a giant water spot on the back of it. Again, condensation around all the fans throwing water all around my case shorting everything. PC turns on but nothing on the screen, swapped graphics cards and ram still no posting. Wonder if the mobo got shot too, sigh. At least I have a laptop for now. Price you pay living on the beach in hawaii... salt air destroys EVERYTHING. PC dies yearly.

Thanks for your help guys, looks like i'll be building a new pc soon when I have the money!
