BSOD frequently and very slow laptop

my laptop is very slow for some time now and i frequently get bsod. ive tried troubleshooting but cant figure out what is wrong. i have followed your instructions about bsod and have the details that are needed.

Hello epe sorry late reply now in the dump there are or seems to be issues with the CPU and one fro chrome.exe which I ma not sure is about .

Sorry mate it will not let me open that so try this and post the snip back (I find it by far and away the best at sending pics of readouts or screens in general.
How to Use the Snipping Tool in Vista I keep mine pinned to the task bar because I do a lot of snipping to show folks what I mean but the choice is yours.

Something very wrong with the temps mate and I cannot see why it has not given the CPU temp?? the motherboard is probably the highest temp I have ever seen and the graphics chip it is just about on melt down. The drive temp is also way too high for a drive, and if these are in idle then you have a real problem with cooling.

Please check out all the air vent holes you can see and also the cooling fan and the cooling "rad" - see my ditty,nand I would be doing this ASAP!!

CLEANING A LAPTOP FAN& COOLER RAD

The thing you do is toturn over the laptop and shine a very bright light into the air intake aperture(you will see the fan there) and then while doing that look at the outlet venton the end of the laptop you should see the light quite clearly shining throughthe cooling " radiator" if not - it is clogged and will need cleaningas will probably the fan opening.

You can do this byblowing it out using a compressed air can in short bursts.

BUT ONE WORD OF WARNING DO NOT blow the air into the fan opening withoutinserting say a plastic rod or large cable tie to stop the fan from spinning asthe air blast will spin the fan at a very high speed that it is not designed totake and may wreck the bearing!!

To clean the slots in the radiator use a pipecleaner or one of those craft covered wire sticks - they are referred to aschinelle sticks - see pic. But do be very careful not to be overly heavy handedyou will find it might take a second or two or a few minutes to clear theheavier build ups.

these are the new results, is the temp still too high? ( i had cleaned the fan the first time i got bsod, but i didnt clean the exit, did it now the temp fell immediately)
