BSOD - Frequently happening.

As title says, i keep getting BSOD's mainly while playing League of Legends, recently started happening in Windows right after it finished loading as well due to me removing the Graphiccard drivers and installed them again through Windows Update.

Now when i ran the SF Diag Tool it refused to attach the Minidump file (as far as i can see) ran it as administrator but still didn't work (my computer is messed up, i know.)

There's a set of newer drivers which is from 2010, unfortenately the exact same thing happends with them, the issues started a month ago while nothing had changed with the speccs or updates.

The Graphiccard is old and it's only temporary, but i still want to make it run error free until i can get the new one like i could a month ago.

As you know the dumps are blaming the graphics, have you tried the latest drivers from AMD/ATI's site? and it maybe worth looking for updated chipset drivers from your motherboard manufacturers site.

Been looking all over the place to try and find a some what up-to-date driver for the graphiccard without results, except for the one from 2010 which i mentioned in the post, apparently that one isn't verified according to Windows Verifier tho but haven't caused any issues until recently.

It's a rather old graphiccard, saying old is even an understatement cause it's like stone-age quality but that's all i could get quickly since my Geforce 7800 decide to die on me.

I'll check for updated chipset drivers and come back with the results, didn't think of updating that which would make sense as a cause of the issue.

Updated Chipset Drivers, updated Catalyst Control Center (eventho i don't like it.) and the Graphiccard drivers is updated to the 2010 release drivers.

Also turned off restart-on-error and Windows Verifier is cleaned.

Tried playing and so far so good, what's happening now instead is random freezes during heavy load (i.e when lots of people are casting animations) which i can live with, will try to run at a lower resolution then 1920x1080 which will hopefully improve it that issue a bit, but so far no BSOD's, will keep stressing it in games during the day at same settings as before and see if it's solved.

Z3r010 is correct, the dumps have consistently blamed graphics. The code 116, however, is a bit more difficult to diagnose. We have this excellent thead on the subject, which may help

Thank you for the response, were reading that post earlier today as well, althought the "how to troubleshoot" is about the Atikmdag.sys type errors while i currently got an issue with the netbios.sys which seems to be a bit harder to find some actual info about.

Also tried to stress the GPU with FurMark which is included in the post you linked, results of that @ 1920x1080 Resolution resulted in Graphicdrivers not responding, no BSOD tho picture came back after a few seconds.

Seems like the first part is solved since i don't get the Bluescreen anymore which i started the thread cause of, now i get the new one instead which is slightly more annoying and occurs more often.

Briefly for easier reading, this is what i did after the first post:

Checking the Dumps again, the latest Bluescreen is from netbios.sys and the 2 previous ones which is with a 3~ minute space is caused by atikmdag.sys, so guess i'll have to look them both up, will go through the thread again that you linke.

Netbios.sys usually relates to your network driver. Update that driver. That being said 116 is hard to diagnose. You would have the best chance of success by follwing the information that was provided.

Quite frankly, i've given up all hope on the graphiccard as i'm now getting randomized BSOD's for no apparent reason, got rid of the first BSOD which moved on to get another which was the 116, ran a driver cleaner to get rid of all old Drivers (of course i uninstalled everything first) re-installed the newest drivers of pretty much anything on the computer, resulted in even more random BSOD's which got the base in the graphiccard again.

So i'll just jump to the conclusion that it's the hardware starting to give up as nothing changed over the last few months and i recently got the BSOD's.

Ordered a new Graphiccard so should be fine, will format the drivers and do a clean install of Windows as it arrives instead and hopefully it will all get sorted, kind of a last resort.

If you continue to get BSODs after a clean reinstall its pointing toward hardware as mentioned. Wish you luck.
