Just got my budget system put together and installed with the below information. I get constant bsods when idling and during tasks. I'm guessing it is the video card but I have tried everything I can to figure this out. Re-Installed video driver, disconnected all other HDDs and externals, even the DVD drive removed. Check MB Bios revision from GA site and its at F7.

Just tried installing the OS on a second drive (sata 1tb physical drive instead of ssd) and received a 1e bsod during install.

Specs Hardware:
Motherboard -GA-970A-D3
CPU - Phenom II x4 960t
HDD - Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2
Mem - F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL (G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) )
GPU - XFX HD-687A-ZHFC (Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP )

Specs OS:
Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64 SP1

Attached is all the dumps that were gathered and the perfreport.

No change :( More bsods.

Attached is the new zip.

Edit: I did try a different video card earlier before all this and it still blue screened so I ruled out the new card at that point.

Edit: Just had another bsod after uploading.

Download the associated ethernet driver for your system from the link below.
Realtek

You should update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset etc.

Make sure all Windows updates are installed including the latest Service Pack.

Run an sfc/scannow command in an elevated command prompt. If errors are found, run it twice more with each scan followed by a reboot.

- Installed Network Driver
- ran scs /scannow
-- 100% verified (3 times in a row)
- Checked for new drivers, all seem up to date :(

ran stable for a few and then bsod (0x3b)

attached dump.

BIOS for memory is at x8.00 at 1600 and my memory is 1600 so not sure that should change. I saw where the board will default to 1333 but mine hasn't.

EDIT: Running memtest86+ v4.20
going to do a couple passes just to be safe.

Ah, that might be it then.

If you are overclocking any hardware, STOP. Reset any changed values back to default.

Running Memtest sounds like a good idea, but let it run for 6-8 passes rather than just a couple.

Okay, but remember to be sure you need to run it at least 6-8 times. Apart from that, all you can do now is stop overclocking any hardware and set everything to default in your BIOS settings.

Alright I got up this morning and the system had restarted I guess at some point and was back and the login screen.

Should I reinstall on a non SSD?
Maybe it's the PCIE slot on the MB?
Maybe it's the Video Card? (I switched cards and still got bsods)

Attaching the latest dumps.

Your crashes seem to happen every hour based on your posts. You may want to take a look at: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-...ion-1-hour-after-cold-boot-3.html#post1793840

I just noticed you are running a Crucial M4, and this is a known problem with them when the firmware is not up to date.

Yes I did that last night. It is at revision 309 atm. The system has been idling since my last post this morning, until now with me making THIS reply.

I'm going to perform some general tasks and then try to fire up a game and see if it bsods.

Will report back.

Been a few hours and no crashes to report!

Not sure what the issue was / is but I'm praying its resolved.

Do you guys suggest any Monitoring programs to use while I'm using the system?

To monitor temps I would use something like SpeedFan.
SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

But that's more an overclocking tool more than anything. When it comes to monitoring your computer for BSOD's there's not many tools I can think of.

Mike (writhziden) may be able to think of a couple though, wait for his input.

Well it was false hope. Finally another bsod...

I'm considering a fresh install on my old HDD instead of this ssd drive.

I can send stuff back as RMA if I can determine what the issue is. CPU was at 40c and GPU was at 51c a bit before the bsod.

attached dump as usual for anyone that can investigate.
