Solved BSOD from ndistapi.sys and ntoskrnl.exe?

My desktop is a HPE-510t and its running 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. I reinstalled the os by using the recovery partition thinking the problem would be solved, but it still persists. Its about two years old and I haven't had any problems till now. Every night it won't shut down and I have to force it, and sometimes its shuts down when I leave it sleeping. Help?

Analysis:

Crashes point to your USB Wireless D-Link adapter. Update or re-install the drivers if possible. If that does not work, consider replacing the device with a PCI device. I am actually surprised your system did not already have a wireless device built in when you bought it...

To fully re-install a driver, use the following steps (your device will be in Network adapters in Device Manager).

1. First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
2. Click Start Menu
3. Right Click My Computer/Computer
4. Click Manage
5. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
6. Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
7. Right click the device
8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
10. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
11. Install the latest driver for the device.

Alternatively:

1. Login as an adminstrative user.
2. First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
3. Click Start Menu
4. Click Control Panel
5. Click Hardware and Sound
6. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
7. Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
8. Right click the device
9. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
10. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
11. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
12. Install the latest driver for the device.

I reinstalled the latest drivers, but my computer won't shut down at night. Eventually, I have to force it by holding the power button. Do you have any ideas to why this is happening? Thanks.

Also, I got a bluescreen again today, and it was caused by lltdio.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. I installed the latest drivers for the adapter. Could there possibly be another problem? Thanks.

Please remove the D-Link device and see if you still have crashes. Your system should have come with an Atheros wireless device: Original Atheros Wireless Networking Controller Driver HP Pavilion Elite HPE-510t CTO Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

I would recommend using that instead of the USB device and seeing if the crashes stop. Uninstall all D-Link software and drivers prior to removing the D-Link device.
