BSOD Help "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

Hello everyone, this is my first post here, but google has lead me here many times and this forum has helped me and taught me so much!

I recently built a computer myself and started experiencing BSODs a few days after using it.

I've attached all of the files and information as stated on the BSOD Posing Instruction sticky!

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ?

- the original installed OS on the system?
Self built computer, Windows 7 64bit is the first and only OS installed.
- an OEM or full retail version?
full retail version
- What is the age of system (hardware)?
All brand new. Build the computer last week.
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?)
Installed OS one week ago.

Run MemTest Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic or Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool overnight to determine if you have a bad RAM stick.

But, I suspect something simpler. Is this your first build? Check your CPU temps using RealTemp or CoreTemp. It is a common problem among new builders to OVERapply thermal compound on the CPU/heatsink.

I ran memtest84, sorry forgot to include that. How long does it normally take to scan? I left it on for a while and it seemed to have completed an entire scan, and kept repeating scanning (is that normal)?
Anyways, I left it on for over 2 hours, and no errors were found at all.

As for my CPU temperature normally hovers around 21C or 70F when not doing anything too intensive.

MemTest will cycle, that is normal. Overnight is, at times, better than two hours - but let's move on.

Reseat all cards, esp video.

This error is common to CPU overheat, bad mem chips and, my favorite, buggy drivers. Now, I do not dislike buggy drivers as a group, everyone has to have a job and driving a buggy is honest work.

But you should check that you have the most current drivers for all of your components. A new build? - get the most current BIOS AND USE IT PROPERLY!!! Often, mobos sit in the warehouse while BIOS updates address problems.

Load chipset driver first, then video, then others.

I've got the latest BIOS (It's a beta BISO, but I'm pretty sure the BSODs occurred even before I updated it).

As for drivers, I've downloaded the latest ones numerous times. Making sure they were all windows 7 64bit.
I've read about drivers sometimes conflicting and making sure to fully uninstall older drivers, is this necessary? Or can I just simply download and install all of the newest driers without worrying about the older ones?

Debatable. You could use DriverSweeper from Guru3d before re-installing drivers as a failsafe.

Thank you for all of your speedy help. I will try a few things and report back here if I ever get it again.
