Lazordog, probably you are not getting BSODs but random shutdowns.

Somehow you have got the trustedinstaller corrupted, and it is not very easy to repair. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

If it fails, or you cannot boot into your desktop, try SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot

If it also fails (I expect so), go for a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html.

Try to avoid two Stuff:

1. Bonjour
2. Kaspersky.

These tow have some positive contribution here. For the antivirus, Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
