Hi,

First time poster here. I have just assembled this machine, and keep encountering BSOD with the BAD_POOL_HEADER decription. Crashes include steam games like Borderlands 2, Elder Scrolls Online, and Dota 2.

PC Specs
  • i7-4790
  • 16 GB DDR3 RAM
  • ASRock B85M Pro 3 Motherboard
  • Geforce GTX 750 Ti
  • 256 GB Samsung SSD HD
I've tried clean install, updating all the drivers (currently I'm using the nvidia driver that shipped with my graphics card as I thought it might remedy the problem).

Logs are included below.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I fixed the problem. Faulty stick of RAM. I didn't have SP1 installed at the time of the first crash as I'd wiped the C:\ drive, and was installing drivers one by one. Memtest+ identified it on the first pass, and consistently on a second and third.
