Background : I had my custom computer build for me, the parts are
Processor - Intels i3 3220 3.3ghz
Motherboard - MSI Z77A-G41
Graphics Card - MSI Radeon 7770
Harddrive - Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 1TB 64mb cache
RAM - 2 x 4 GB Ballistics Memory Sticks
DVD CD 24/XX - optical drive
operating system - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

I do use Norton Antivirus, Idk if that matters, but yes I did install it in the first time, and now the second time

First time Installing Windows 7, everything went well, I thought, till I starting updating everything. Starting with the Mobo disk, then the Gpu disk , then windows updates, having updating everything, including optional ones. So then I got massive BSODS and lots of problems, wasn't functioning like 30 mins without one.

So then I rebooted, did a clean reboot of the entire system and wiped the HDD before starting it, then it all worked better, I didn't use the optional updates and only did the updates from the disks I got without the "afterburner" and "CCC" from ATI . Now I am getting this screen, I have gotton it randomly from time to time, and right now it is working perfectly, I haven't made many changes, nothing crazy. Everything says it's up to date when I go into the device manager. Just curious as to why this happens, I am not holding my breath, because I know this could come up at any time. When it doesn't come up , it plays flawlessly, like I did last night for 4 hours no problems, then rebooted in the morning to a BSOD , then 5 mins later, no problems for an hour or two and shut off... Then today I was using my comp , then BSOD as updating the mobo for some devices, then I reboot, no problems and I played games for hours and here I am... So if you guys could help me please :)

SpencerCarey, Seen your crash dumps. They dont show any clear results, but some patterns however.

Depending on the pattern, I may suggest you to uninstall Norton and all Symentec products using Norton Removal tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Aslo Uninstall all MSI programs.

But, if you are not ready to do it, and make it sure, enable driver verifier.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

Ok but removing anti virus can't be right though, why would norton not have patched this if it was the problem

here you go, it's less than it was before but I'm sure there were a couple of "weird" errors...

Have you taken the suggested tests? If not, do those to be sure. There is enough indication and that is only why I have suggested it.

Do one more thing ... Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight, per RAM module per slot.

I found out the problem.

My power supply is a 430 W for a G card that alone requires minimum 450W for everything.

Would have been nice for you guys to see that , because I never noticed it... lol

Well yeah, so we took that out and everything booted like easily no problems. I'm gonna get a new power supply of around 600 - 650 W . Laters
