Solved BSOD in win7 safe mode is Ok..

Having frequent blue screens, getting the following message:

Hi jankhan.

If it works good in safe mode, it should not be a hardware issue, but all your BSODs are stop 0x50, o the risk of memory corruption is always there.

BTW, using multiple antivirus programs is a bad idea. As you have microsoft security essentials installed, you uninstall BitDefender, as the first step, at least as a test. Because, as per carrona.org,

• STOP 0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Usual causes: Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS​

Also free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept then restart.

Let us know the results. Will decide about the next steps seeing the situation.

Got rid of the start up programs apart from Win Patrol.. and reduced Anti virus software plus needed a DirectX update..
Have been running Windows constantly since (20+ hrs) and no problems..
