BSOD in Windows 7 x64 on Wake-up

Hello all

Recently started receiving a BSOD overnight while my PC sleeps. Looks like it happens when the PC tries to wake up.

Here is the info:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa800c235060, 0xfffff80000b9c518, 0xfffffa800e99c5b0). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 031610-50762-01.

The system:
Windows 7 x64
Dell Studio XPS 8100
Core i7-860
8GB RAM
EVGA GeForce GT 240 SSC

This is an issue with a driver. Have you updated any drivers recently?

Actually upon further investigation, are you running ZoneAlarm by chance?

Nope... closest thing I have to that would be NAV 2010.

I'm pretty sure some driver is crashing when the system tries to *wake up* from sleep, but I have no idea which one.

I know it's not the NVIDIA GeForce driver. And I didn't update any of the other drivers (just the Dell stock drivers for the H57 mobo chipset).

Could it be the SonicWall NetExtender-SSL VPN adapter? I uninstalled that and the problems seems to have gone away - at least for the moment.

Hi and welcome

This crash was probably caused by your lvuvc64.sys, which is part of the Logitech web cam driver.

So I would un-install it, download a newer copy, and install the fresh copy.

I would also run a system file check to verify and repair your system files
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc scannow)

I should have known... that webcam is not officially supported by Win 7 - but it had been working. Hard to believe a webcam can bring down the whole OS!

After some quickie QA tests, I think this crash only happens when both the SonicWall driver and this webcam driver are loaded.

I'll unplug the webcam and see if that smoothes things out.
