Hi

I have just tried to install a Hue view camera with the installation CD that came with the camera all looked fine but when I launch the software the picture from the camera appears for about 2 secs then I get A BSOD. So uninstalled the software and went to the Hue website to get the software but after installing this it did exactly the same, I'm a bit confused as I have installed the same software on some other pc's here where I work that are the same and the software build. the camera in question also works on another pc, so I was wondering if you guys could help me.

Many thanks

There appears to be a conflict with the existing but outdated Creative Camera driver....see if you can update it from the link below:

Thanks for the quick response Golden, I can't seem to update that particular driver when I try to upgrade the existing driver for the 'intergrated webcam' it tells me I have the latest driver, so I tried uninstalling....it was already disabled, but the driver still exists. can I just delete it or move that .sys file out?

Thx

Try renaming the .sys to .sys_old

All sorted now, I deleted the creative software from programs and features and and reinstalled the Hue drivers and all is stable once again.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
