Hello Seven forums and members,
I started having this issue last night. The power plug that is in my "Four board" got kicked, and sparked a rather fancy amount. I happened to be copying something, and gaming at the time of the event :(

Whenever i boot up into normal mode, i get the "IRQL" error, blue screen of death. I really don't like this happening, and i need my computer in a working order as soon as possible :S

I do not know what other type of information i should provide. Please tell me, as i am very new to the forums here. I will try anything possible to get my computer working again, short from buying a new one.

Thank you very much, i eagerly await your reply (Sorry if my post is ill written, i am only 16.).

Thankyou very much. I will update as soon as the tool has finished running. Mind you, Perfmon /report brings up the Performance monitor, but it says that it is unable to "Find the file".

It says in the first post that i have, as an attachment (Sorry that i took a while to respond, i BSOD'd in safe mode...)

-Uninstall speed fan as its driver is from 2006 and is outdated
-Stop overclocking if you are doing so
-Ensure that the PC components are not overheating and clean out the dust

Your single dump blames the core OS file

Run driver verifier to determine which driver was the cause

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
NOTE: You can use Low Resource Simulation if you'd like. From my limited experimentation it makes the BSOD's come faster.
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out.

Reboot into Windows (after the crash) and turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page, then locate and zip up the memory dump(located in C:\Windows\Minidump) in file and upload it with your next post.

I have done exactly as you have said. I am now waiting for the computer to crash (I uninstalled speedfan). When and if it does, i will reply with a new post, that will have the .Zip that you have requested. Thankyou.

I have unplugged the network cord from the main computer (The one that is crashing. I am on my laptop currently), is that going to ruin the test we are conducting?

I removed speedfan, and it stayed in windows fine. Now, i restarted, and it is asking me to select a proper boot device....

I have a windows installation disc here, if that will fix the problem, i am reluctant, but i will re install windows.

Is the BIOS detecting the HDD?
The repair install only requires about 10GB of space

Yes, the BIOS seems to see it. I have four Gigabytes of free space on the drive. I have partition C, D, and E. All on a 500Gigabyte disk. C is windows installation, D and E is for the storing of files.
C has four gig of space free. :(
Shall i just go a full reinstall? Is this likely to fix the problem???

Only if you are willing to do it, it will fix the problems but backup all your information and files first
