Hello - hope someone can help. I continue to get the BSOD when using SONAR X3 DAW. It happens randomly, but the frequency has been increasing. I used SlimDriver to update the drivers thinking that might be a fix, but it's still happening. Any help would be much appreciated.

Look for an update for your USB audio device (I'm assuming this is the Sonar X3 DAW you're talking about). Install the update and report back if you're still having problems.

Thanks for the quick response peebee. I did go to the Focusrite website (I'm using a Focusrite Saffire 6 USB audio interface) and found that I already have the latest version of the driver installed. I had actually wondered if that might have caused the issue. Any other suggestions if the most recent driver is current and up-to-date? I appreciate your help.

I'll look at it a little deeper later. The driver is likely stepping on an address of memory that it shouldn't be. I don't have Windbg on this machine though.

If you're feeling ambitious you could use the Driver Verifier (start -> run: verifier) and test that specific driver for IRQL checking. There are a ton of posts on how to use the Driver Verifier if you're unsure.
