[bsod] irql_not_less_or_equal

Hello

I'd like to format the harddrive of an old Toshiba Satellite A10-S403D laptop currently running XP and install Windows7 instead.

But after booting from the DVD player, I get the BSOD a couple of seconds after the "Starting Windows" and the green progress bar starts.

Before I give up and install Linux, any idea what I could try?

1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

DM Log Collector.exe

2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
