Hi there,

I have recently upgraded and only since using Windows 7 Prof. 64 have I seen BSODs during every game I play. Screen goes blank, sound locks up and the BSOD appears.

Things I have tried:
Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool and memtest86+ which both show no errors.
Changed ATI drivers with no results, however it was not a clean install.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Specs:
Win 7 Professional x64 - Retail
Brand new OS (less than 1 week) and GPU (less than 3 weeks)
Quite new PSU and HDD's
And a little bit older: AMD athlon 64x2 4600+ and 3gb RAM

Well, there are a lot of factors in running programs under 64bit windows. One major factor is the game itself. Some games have issues with 64bit Windows. You might want to check the publisher/developer website of the game if they have any patches or fixes for 64bit issues.

Thanks for the reply, I'm afraid it's with multiple games but I'll be sure to test more so that I can be sure. The main ones are Crysis 2 and Dirt 2 - all fully patched.

Resolved!

Not 100% sure of the issue but after updating the Ethernet driver and taking the side panel off my pc to stop any possible overheating issues there are no more crashes.
