Hello, I have recently build a new computer and I am experiencing some issues with a few games.

Specs:
AMD FX 4100 3.6 Quad core
Gigabyte 970a-ud3 AM3+ motherboard
12gb Kingston hyper X ram (1600 DDR3)
Nvidia Gefore GTX 460 1gb GDDR3
500 AND 7500 GB Western Digital Black Caviar HDD
Thermaltake Toughpower 700watt PSU
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Games tested:
Battlefield 3: Starts up fine, played 30 min round no problems
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes of liberty city: Starts fine
Left 4 Dead 2: Starts fine runs well
Shattered Horizon: Starts fine
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3:Good
Team fortress 2: Good
Elder scrolls IV: Skyrim: Good

Games that cause blue screen:
Saints Row: The third
Deus Ex: Human revolution
Portal 2

Each of these games blue screen right from clicking the exe file, as soon as you clicked the exe for deus ex and or saints row, the computer would freeze, then bluescreen.

Portal 2 played opening credits shows loading bar, then blue screens.

Bluescreen error report

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .
A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress
Some generic advice.

If you are overclocking STOP.
Return to the default settings at least for now.

If you are running a RAID update its driver.

* You say in your Post 1

What Ive done:
Re installed drivers
Fixed windows registry with cleaning program

Update windows
Update C++ 2008
Update Direct X

A guide for the average computer user for NOT using a registry cleaner follows -

1.Windows is a closed source system, developers of registry cleaners are not working on definitive information, but rather empirical knowledge. Automatic cleaners will usually have to do some guesswork.

2. Modifying registry keys incorrectly can cause Windows instability, or make Windows unbootable.

3. No registry cleaner is completely safe and the potential is ever present to cause more problems than they claim to fix.

THEREFORE

4. If you do not have knowledge of the registry, then you would probably be better off leaving it alone, and definitely not placing blind trust in a program to do the job for you.

* Have you worked through all 9 troubleshooting steps in the link below?

* What were the results for each of the 9 steps?

* Should you find yourself in the situation of having performed all of the steps above without a resolution of the symptom, unfortunately the most likely reason is because the error message is literally correct - something is fundamentally wrong with the machine's hardware.

I have pinned it down to the bulldozer processor,
ive come across some forums for people that are having the exact same problems all of the users have a bulldozer processor. Unfortunately some games are unstable with these new processors.
Flashing BIOS may help but I have never done that so i might just wait for a stable release fix from AMD.

Thank you all for your help
