BSOD/LossOfVideo Randomly

came upstairs to my room after playing skyrim to get ready for bed, which i usally just load a youtube playlist or set neflix to a tv-show series, thne i konk out and sleep.

when i tried to wake the pc i noticed the CPU and GPU fans were "Jet-mode'ing" and i couldnt wake the system. did a restart a few mins in tried to send a rar to someone that was downstairs over Skype and FFFT it did it again.

ran the SF Tool but its not collecting any minidumps.

edit: atm Temps are 13C for GPU and 44C for CPU

Hi,

You may need to reconfigure windows to collect the correct info
You want small memory dumps - "MiniDumps"

Then once configured, wait for a new BSOD and run the SF tool again and post up the logs.

sorry i was gone over the course of the weekend at a convention, i did stress test the pc after removing the ATI TV Wonder PRO PCI and it hasnt done this since. but i have had windows for some time now to collect mini dumps.

no prob but the whole matter Why it was doing that stil baffles me. i had a old Windows XP era Machine down in the basement i can try.

Could be many a reason, faulty drivers, faulty or incompatible card, damaged PCI/PCIe slots on motherboard, insufficient power to the device, etc etc

Try the card in the XP machine, see if it works there?
