Hi, I recently upgraded my Motherboard, CPU and PSU. Now everytime I start up, it reboots randomly within at least 5 minutes. I don't ever actually see a blue screen, but the problem signature identifies it as such I have to use safe mode with networking in order to do anything at all, which defeats the purpose of having an upgraded system. Thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry about that! Here's the attachment. I double checked and there doesn't seem to be any bloatware from gigabyte that can find.

Your Windows installation is counterfeit. You have an ACER PID on a Gigabyte retail motherboard.

Counterfeit installations such as yours can contain heavily modified code that can cause the installation to behave in unexpected ways. Analysing BSODs and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is completely unreliable, and for this reason most analysts won't attempt it.

My recommendation is to install a genuine copy of Windows 7. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing and make subsequent diagnosis of BSODs far more reliable. Once you are running a genuine Windows 7 installation and are still experiencing BSODs, upload your new logs we will be happy to help you solve them.

It was originally. I bought this computer from a friend a long time ago, and recently found it was a counterfeit copy. I did however buy a genuine copy and I typed in the activation code at the "Your windows may not be genuine" prompt. So it's activated to my computer now, and that log was done after I activated the code. My disc hasn't come in yet, so do I need to reinstall windows, even though it's now genuine? And is there a way I can do that before the disc gets here? I'm not the most knowledgeable with how installing OS's works right now. Also, on a sidenote, I just now noticed that my motherboard says that it supports up to 32 gb of DDR3 1333+, and I have 16GB of DDR3 1600MHz installed. Would that also cause issues with instability? Thanks!

Nevermind, I managed to reinstall a genuine copy of Windows. The blue screen error still occurs, however, it takes a bit longer for it to happen. I attached a new log.

I keep getting an error message when trying to update. "Code 80073712 Windows Update encountered an unknown error" When I downloaded the package directly from the Windows website, it said it doesn't apply to my machine, even though I downloaded the correct version. (Thanks in advance for the assistance you're giving me!)
