It seems to happen most often when I league in SC2. However, it has frozen during Deus Ex:HR and while doing something mundane like watching a youtube video or browsing the internet. I've already run a memtest, and it passed. I've reinstalled several drivers. It's really starting to annoy me. Any help would be much appreciated.

No DMP files included in upload please try this method.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Uploaded the proper dump files.

3 different apparent causes.

Lets start by running a system file check and a malwarebytes scan.

Okay, so I ran sfc/scannow 3 times with no problems found. I know you recommended malwarebytes, but I already run MSE every night and it's virus definitions are up to date.

Good news on the SFC, Malwarebytes scans for different things.

You have some errors due to AMD Catalyst Control Center/Vision Engine Control Center, Easy Tune 6, or AMD Overdrive. Recommend removing any of these programs if you have them. If AMD CCC comes with your graphics drivers, make sure its overclocking feature is not enabled after re-installing or installing the latest drivers.

Use the following method to re-install the drivers.

  1. Download the drivers you want for your display card(s)
  2. Click Start Menu
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Click Uninstall a program
  5. For AMD:
    • Uninstall AMD Catalyst Install Manager if it is listed (this should remove all AMD graphics software and drivers)
    • If AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed, use the following method to uninstall the graphics drivers:
      1. Click Start Menu
      2. Right Click My Computer/Computer
      3. Click Manage
      4. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
      5. Expand Display adapters
      6. Do the following for each adapter (in case you have multiple display cards)
        • Right click the adapter
        • Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
        • Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK

        Alternatively:
        1. Login as an adminstrative user
        2. Click Start Menu
        3. Click Control Panel
        4. Click Hardware and Sound
        5. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
        6. Expand Display adapters
    • Restart your computer after uninstalling drivers for all display cards
    • Install the driver you selected for the display cards once Windows starts
