BSOD. Multiple errors all related to ntoskrnl.exe

Hi,

I have recently been experiencing BSOD several times in the space of an hour, and am unsure of the cause. Blue Screen view has indicated that all the BSODs are related to ntoskrnl.exe.

I have included the recommended files according to the BSOD thread instructions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as other posts have seem to identify unrelated software as a potential reason. Also, I have seen posts linking to a microsoft hotfix, however I am little wary of using the hotfix.

It may also be worth noting that I have recently been using a replacement power cable that is under-spec (19V at 3.5A, when the original was delivered 20V at 4.5A). I am not sure whether this is the cause as the problem does not occur when running games or in safe mode.

Please install SP1. It fixed a lot of possible errors in Windows. Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) from Official Microsoft Download Center

This driver belongs to Daemon Tools which is a very well known causer of BSODs. Please uninstall using this uninstaller: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Security Processor Loader Driver	ROOT\LEGACY_SPLDR\0000	This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

This means that your anti-virus could possibly be installed incorrectly, or it is corrupt. Please uninstall the one you are using now, and download Download Microsoft Security Essentials from Official Microsoft Download Center for testing purposes.

BIOS Release Date             10/22/[COLOR="Red"]2009[/COLOR]

BIOS is also out of date, I suggest updating it by going to the manufactures website.

Please do this for now, and post back results.

Hi Justin,

Thank you for such a quick response, really appreciate the help!

I have done all the things you have suggested, it has taken a while to respond as my ISP has been down recently.

So far, all seems well with 0 BSOD post Windows 7 SP1.

I will post again if I experience another BSOD.

Once again thank you, I was completely unaware I hadn't installed SP1!
