This one was probably caused by ampse.sys which is a part of Authentium AntiVirus5 .

I would remove it and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Authentium AntiVirus5 is not something I installed. I did some research and found that this is possibly a trojon, virus, or malwar. However any attempt to remove it has proven difficult. I have system mech pro installed and Malwaebytes Anit-malware installed. ran a scan and nothing poped up other than some unrelated malware. Any thoughts on how to remove this Authentium AntiVirus5?

With Windows 7, particularly 64-bit, you may want to first try System Restore to a point prior to when those files started appearing. Windows 7 has a much more robust System Restore than Windows XP and Windows Vista.
