BSOD Need help

I can't repair using windows disk startup repair,system restore or safe mode. Says I have got a bad driver which would be right because I was trying to install bluetooth drivers.

I want to avoid a clean install because I've got too much to loose including all my Dragon Naturally Speaking custom commands.

Any help would be appreciated.
Dumb it down for me.

Can you boot into safe mode?
try this if it helps

Unfortunately it won't start in safe mode either or last known good configuration. It just keeps coming up the same blue screen. I can't boot up to find the mini dump file details.

I get this blue screen error code is stop. (0x0000006B)

I was using Revo UnInstaller to remove the driver and its possible that I have deleted more than I should have.

You can download Ubuntu, burn it as a disc image, then boot it into live mode... This will allow you to save all of your important files, then you can re-install Windows 7.... Hope this helps..

I have never used ubuntu. Is the process difficult?

Considering I have Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit should I downloaded ubuntu 64-bit?

No... keep it simple, 32bit will work fine..

I imagine I could find a step-by-step guide of how to retrieve my files by doing a Google search, unless you know of a guide off hand?

Very simple... It works the same way that explorer works in Windows... Open My Places... navigate to your Windows files, copy them, then save them to a flash drive/Cd... easy peasy...

I copied them to my flash drive but I can't open them. The folders I copied are there but I can't find any files.

e.g. copied user file but subfolders are missing

Any help would be appreciated.
