Hi Scooby1.

A stop 0x116 is a display/graphics related issue.

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

The computer seems to me old, for more or less 3 years. Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.
eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

The display driver that is installed is not very stable. But I am not seeing any update for your GeForce 6200 with TurboCache . If you know, please update it.

Let us know the results.

Edit: Is it nForce? And th GPU driver is a part of it?

Hi ARC. I checked everything as you said and updated GPU driver to latest version. The error still occured. My mate said it might be a codec problem and subsequently removed all the codecs and installed VLC player instead. The computer no longer crashes now and I thank you for your help! Thanks Scooby1
