Hi guys,

I've recently built a new computer, specs are:
- MB: Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H
- CPU: Intel I3
- RAM: 2x2gb sticks
- HD's: Mix of WD's and seagrates
- GPU: Onboard gigabyte

Since installing 7, I get a bsod about once a week. I've been keeping a close eye on temps for the cpu's (~~40 for both cores).

I tried to install the Windows NT6 BSOD ... exe from the posting instructions to zip up but I keep getting the following error:
bsod_s1.jpg

Ironically, the first time I ran it, it was working, got about half way through and got the BSOD. So I'm not sure if the installation has corrupted?

Hi. Super quick reply!

Woah, that is so surprising! I have been an avast advocate for so long!

Thanks for that, I wander if it's a common or known issue?

Thanks again. I will trial it for a few weeks then update this post so a record is kept of the status

Hey - just a bit of an update.

The BSOD's have reduced in frequency but still had another 1 yesterday. I have attached the file to see the most recent crash. I installed BlueScreenView but can't make much sense of the dump.

Any thoughts would be great.

Try installing these updated Realtek Ethernet drivers: Realtek

Also, remove Gigabyte Easy Saver, as it has been known to cause BSODs.
Code:
gdrv.sys Thu Mar 12 23:22:29 2009 (49B9D175)
Rt64win7.sys Mon Mar 22 05:57:14 2010 (4BA73EFA)

If the BSODs persist, enable driver verifier: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Wait for a few BSODs, and then follow our BSOD sticky: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
