Hi Guys.

This is my first time posting here but I'm in a bad way. I'm not sure exactly how to post everything but having the support and seeing what I've seen would be amazing. I thank you in advance.

These BSOD have happened regularly. I have replaced my old USB keyboard, my mouse from usb to analog, I have a new Video card, stock 4gb of ram and Corsair 8gb.

I've been getting BSOD obviously. They've been centered around ntoskrnl.exe with Bluescreenview. Most recently notskrnle.exe+71469 with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and notskrnle.exe+edb52 with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Anything I could possibly do, I will. I'm really hoping it's not the ram, because who doesn't want 8gb instead of 4. Thank you once more

I apologize for my ignorance on how things should be done. Thank you for your help. What you have asked has been done.

And as stated before. Currently I am running with my old RAM. If need be I can easily switch back to the larger capacity, which I would rather have anyway.

Sorry I believe I jumped the gun a bit and posted before it was done. Hopefully this should be everything required.

First and foremost update your bios... from Asus . The latest version is 1001. the update for improving memory compatability

Update it and let me know how the bsod goes.

Also Please run Crystal Disk and post a snapshot of the SMART values here for each HDD/SSD

What would be the best way to update BIOS. I have never done them before.

Edit: I figured it out

Well it seems that I spoke too soon. I received another blue screen while gaming. It was running correctly until I installed Skype. I wasn't on a call just using messenger and boom not long after 20-30 minutes

I really am sorry to be a pain. But I am at a complete loss. Gaming isn't the most important thing ever but I'd like to be able to do stuff without fear of the dreaded BSOD.

Edit: And once again any processes that I need to do I will. I'm exhausted by this

I've had the Blue Screen multiple times since posting thing. Running in safe mode with networking now. So Hopefully I'm able to stay active long enough to do whatever needs to be done to repair this problem

This is just one of them ... and all related to the L1 cache of your processor (CPU)...

From here there are some things you would need to do or confirm with me before we nail the coffin on the CPU...

1. Are you overclocking ? (I hope you are not based on what i can see at the debugger and also the fact that you just updated the bios )

2. What are temps you cpu and other devices are running... You can use SpeedFan and post the snapshot here

3. You haven't still updated the Windows 7 to SP1. Please update it to SP1 !!!

4. Please remove AVG and install Microsoft Security Essential. AVG is known to cause BSOD or problems with lot of ppl here and it was also part of two of your BSOD
