Hello,

I seem to be getting BSODs most times after shutting down my computer. When shutting down, it seems to automatically restart itself and then when I log in next time, it tells me Windows Recovered from an error.

I have attached information that may help.

Your help is appreciated.

Many thanks

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.

Thanks for the reply.

Got myself a genuine copy on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit for a low price. Wiped my PC, installed and activated successfully.

First time I've bothered paying for Windows! :p

Anyway, I hope that will be the end of BSOD's.

Cheers!
