I'm in a bit of a hurry here, so I'll try to be concise:

1. symptoms: some odd artifacts popped up yesterday after-noon while playing a game. 2 1/2 yo custom PC with just 1 hiccup about 2 weeks back, when the OS SSD died (replaced it, reinstalled, things went fine until yesterday). Also, the BIOS screen has some dotted lines now that were not present before (I've not updated the BIOS yet, but I highly doubt it has something to do with my issue - I will probably post a picture later on with that)
2. rig: W7 Ultimate x64 with all the updates (at the time of the crash), 12GB of RAM in triple channel (Mushkin RedLine), Gigabyte G1 Sniper MB, Nvidia 580GTX, 1x256GB Samsung 840Pro SSD + 1xCorsair F120 Force SSD + 2 external 1TB and 2TB USB WD HDDs
3. what I've done:

*uninstalled old NVidia drivers (which were the latest version 331.81) and installed a previous version (331.65) => still nothing
* removed video card from its former slot and inserted it in a slot underneath, after clearing the slots of dust and gently removing whatever particles were present on the video cards' connectors => still the same BSOD
* reinstalled W7 and 331.65 drivers => still the same BSOD
* inspected the MB/videocard visually for swollen components => nothing popped up at the first glance, but it's true I might've missed something

4. the BSOD-tool results are attached, along with some screenshots, however I must say the SF_diagnostic was run while in Safe Mode, so it might not reflect the situation accurately. So yeah, working in Safe Mode is OK, I'm writing this message right?... As soon as I want to boot in normal mode, puff...

What I want from you experts is a confirmation that the video card is effed up. I'd hate to find out it's the MB...

As usual, if in need of more info, let me know.

Thanks,
Dan

Sorry for the late reply, but in essence it was my video card. I replaced it with a 780GTX and now things are working smoothly again. :geek:

Cheers,
