BSOD - whocrashed probable cause ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7F1C0)

Hey guys,

So in the last couple days ive gotten a BSOD twice. I wasnt doing anything intensive on the computer, just typing out some notes.

The blue screen said IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I will attched the zip file from the diagnostic tool. It contains the minidump files from both bsods.

Thanks for the help

edit:

Just wanted to add some more random info
- Memtest 86 - no errors - 7 passes
- Did MSE full scan, malwarebytes full scan, and ran CCleaner after the first BSOD
- Also defragmented my harddrive and ran chkdsk (added some clusters to the bad sector list)

edit 2:

Just had the blue screen come up for the third time. It seems to be increasing in frequency.
Event viewer info: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80001a08477).

edit 3.
after running whocrashed ntoskrnl.exe looks like it might be the problem. Not sure how i should go about fixing it though

Hello,

Both the BSoDs were caused by your Intel Wireless WiFi Link Driver

Code:

Unable to load image netw5v64.sys, Win32 error 0n2

The drivers are of 2009, suggest you get the latest drivers installed.

You might also want to check for an update on your BIOS version.
Current one is quite old:

BIOS Version/Date	Dell Inc. A12, [COLOR="red"]19/11/2008[/COLOR]

Keep us posted

Awesome! Thanks for the help.

I just updated the driver to a 2010 version. There were newer drivers on the intel site (i did download the newest one from 2012) but it listed my device as one that wouldn't update to the newest driver version.

I looked into the BIOS as well but it seems that A12 is the newest version out.

Thanks again for the help. I will have to wait and see for a few days to make sure the issue is fixed
