Solved BSOD occurs randomly during regular usage (web-browsing, e-mail).

Hi there,

I am getting random BSODs with my Acer Aspire 8943G laptop. I was wondering if someone can help out and shed some light as to what might be causing it.
I am not doing anything extraordinary with this laptop but use Firefox 7.0.1 for web browsing, Office 2010 with latest updates for e-mail / productivity.
The laptop is running the Win 7 OS that came with it (Home Premium 64bit).
It's an i5-430m, 2.26Ghz per core.
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
8GB of DDR3 ram.

I've been experiencing these type of BSOD pretty much from day one, and they can occur from as often as several times a week to maybe once a month.

Thanks for your help and support. I have updated the wireless card driver and will monitor my system for a while and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks so much for your help. I think that updating the Intel WiFi driver definitely did the trick. The system has been stable now for the past few weeks.
