Well; from what i could research via google on this issue; it looks like you could; and i mean could have a issue with one or more possible sticks of ram being bad. But in order to find out for sure; you should run memtest86+ from the following link. It is a program that you will need to burn to a disc or to a flash drive or the like to be able to run it as it cant be directly run from a system. Here is the link to memtest86+: post back if no issues and we can go from there and i will try and research it some more to try and determine where to go next.

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

I would give it another shot to see if you can get it to go past number 3. If you cant; there is a possibility that you may have a few bad ram slots and or even a bad system board.

I tried running it a few more times, each time it would crash just after or before the third pass. Is there another way for me to test my motherboard/ RAM?

Also I have unplugged and reattached all cables and cleaned my RAM sticks with compressed air before re-seating them.

I solved the issue by following a suggestion in my other thread in general discussion about cleaning out the cpu heat sink/ fan and also reapplying thermal paste. I did this and voila, my pc was working again.

Thank you for your help, I honestly greatly appreciate what everyone here does. Great community with great people.
