Ok so yesterday I went to boot and had the bsod on every type of boot even safe mode .but I have a clone drive I update every week or so .so I am able to boot from the clone fine ,and even see the other drive .now I ran a virus scan on it and chk disk and still won't boot from it .now I have installed some programs on the original drive since I did a clone so doing a reverse clone won't be a big deal .now I should say that I am not using a paging file and my disk space is very low on the ssd os,cause I tried to do a restore made 2 days ago....now can I pull the restore points to the clone drive and bring that drive closer to date? Now like I said I have access to the drive that doesn't boot when I boot from the clone drive that is not a ssd and works fine ,but I need those last programs I had just installed .....can I some how copy the boot info from the clone to the ssd not booting drive.....and the bsod error says to do a chk disk on the f drive which is 2 ssd's in a raid 0 ,so I did that and they are fine ........I don't know what to do!!

Hello and welcome Digitalson now your post to me appears a little fragmented that is to say that I only make out that you have one drive that will boot and it leaves me wondering why you do not just use that instead of playing around with the drive that will not??

Now you have scanned the drive just exactly what? Myself I would be running a drive test ie SeaTools for Windows | Seagate to check the viability of that drive at least for starters.

I have scanned the drive with everything and it's ok...I think the efi partition is screwed...I'm just gonna re clone the original with the clone that is only a few changes away ......I used to do image files.but cloning is soooo much easier just boot the clone and ur up and running in 2 mins

Ok mate now while I think cloning is in my mind a good option imaging is good even if it keeps ones data safe.
Now before I clone onto a previously used drive I always clean or clean all with DISKPART to make sure that the drive void of any remnants - formatting only to me has the propensity to leave bits and pieces behind to interfere with the install. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/52129-disk-clean-clean-all-diskpart-command.html I do prefer the command prompt method but you will need to have the machine running with the original drive and make sure you have picked the right drive.

Well here's an update...I used aome backupper and like I said the clone os drive was fine ....so what I did was I made an system image of the clone and made a win pe bootable usb stick from aome and booted in win pe ,then did I system restore that brought over the efi partition and the os c drive ....now that booted up right away perfect ,,,except that it still had the othe efi partition on the drive ,and u can't delete it or anything...so then I tried a disk image file .but that did wipe the drive first but couldn't boot from it when restored,so the 3 rd option was just to clone the corrupt os drive with the clone which did work perfectly also ,,,,but I like making weekly image files on a network computer ....so just before restoring just delete all partitions and do the system restore from the image file and that would work.....so In my work flow I am going to use both ....weekly image files and probably monthly clones....so if the c drive crashes or doesn't boot ,,,I can just plug in the clone and back up working in the time it takes to restart the computer.....the image file restore only took about 20 minutes cause the clone in not a ssd but with 2 ssd's it would be faster.......but aome did kick ass !! Very reliable and no problems with boot stick ...best recovery situation I've seen .....ps I couldn't even make a Windows backup file.....it said vss not available.....so aome free backupper......thanks all

Hi Digital,
just a comment once the disc EMPTY space drops below 10% you WILL encounter severe problems as most MS progs use the free space for temp files.
