Hello, the last few months my computer will blue screen on start up. I haven't set my windows to not autorestart on failure so I don't actually know the "error 0x0000000??" whatever it may be. The computer starts up then goes to the program that checks for problems with your computer and tries to fix it while also restoring to a different point when the computer last worked. Safe to say it hasn't fixed the problem. That's as much as I know of the bluescreen issue, I'd appreciate all the help I could get!

Thank you for your time.

Hi seasalter.

Apparently Avast is causing your BSOD issue. Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Report us for any further BSOD.

I appreciate it, so far all good. I'll update if it turns out to be more than this. I thought BBCode 50's were all hardware problems?

Its memory issue. That means, either the physical RAM or any driver passing bad info to the RAM. And antivirus programs do it too often.
