BSOD on every game and some other applications

Hello, so i just moved to my university hostel and i brought my pc too. And here it all started.
Firstly pc didn't fully boot up( there was no beep sound on starting, and gpu fans did repetitive noise like fan speeds up then slows down, speeds up, slows down...)
I tried rearranging ram, and it finally booted up. But then every game started causing BSOD, sometimes they just crashed(stopped working).
I did memtest86 on both 2gb ram sticks, and both shoved errors on test 6 and 9, no else. So i bought new 2gb ram stick, and I'm still having BSODs.
I can't extract almost any of bigger archive files, it gives somekind of Checksum error.
Also here power is lost almost once a week. Could it be underpower problem?

What could you suggest?
Thanks.

Hi Kolu.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

If memtest86+ does not find any issue there, do the following:

1. ► Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall the program at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:
  • 2012-12-13_224441.jpg
  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
2. ► Uninstall ESET.

Description here: Driver Reference Table - eamon.sys

Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

3. ► Install the NVIDIA DRIVERS 314.22WHQL only.

  • Uninstall All nvidia items in Control Panel > Programs and features
    • 3D Vision Control Driver
    • 3D Vision Driver
    • Graphics Driver
    • HD Audio Driver
    • PhysX
    • nvidia Update
(Are you using nvidia chipset drivers? If so, dont uninstall anything other than those are listed).
  • Now follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling
  • Download 314.22 WHQL. While installing, Select Custom (Advanced) install. In the next page, follow this settings:

4. ► Remove the PCI to USB converter if you have any. And change your keyboard.

Let us know the results.

Thanks.

So I did memtest and no errors were found.
I did step 1, and in step 2 as I was running full scan with MSE I got bsod... After it I ran MBAM full scan successfully(found a few viruses). Then tried MSE scan again and now it was succesfull too(no viruses found).
Done everything in step 3.
I don't have any PCI to USB converters but i have question about keyboard part, can I just unplug it and try running a game to test if I get bsod?

Anyway, after all steps(except changing keyboard) I still get bsods.
I'll attatch updated .zip if you want to check.

Thanks for answer.

So I ran Furmark test and max temp was 77C, no artifacts.
So I've been checking temps for an hour now (no games) and cpu reached highest temp than others(gpu, motherboard..) - 48C.
Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/bqQs5sC4qcn5kT6yJmd4IVD

Edit: Im running now(after memtest i kept this one only) new 2gb ram stick just in case old ones somehow slipped memtest.

Edit2: About Furmark, when i run Burn-in test, the info graph is blinking, can't see anything what it shows, but if i run any other type(the one for 15min, user settings, Benchmark Preset:...) graph shows perfectly. I wonder if that blinking is a bug or an artifact.

Edit3: I was updating a game, watching a youtube video and a game stream on twich, and my pc just froze up along with sound of bsod(loud trrrrr kinda thing) but pc didn't restarted nor blue screen appeared so i just restarted my pc, here is updated log.

Though the furmark test is not saying so, but the other symptoms gose with a failing GPU.

As a test, ues either the onboard graphics or any other GPU, and observe if the situation is the same or not.
