Hello,

I've been having a BSOD everytime I try to load some games on Steam (actually only CS:GO so far).

I open and it crashes before logo/loading screen comes up, and its the only situation that the problem occurs.

I got the whole PC just recently and it seems memory was bad manufactured..

After BSOD I get this message:

Problem signature:

Hi thanks for the answer.

Actually all hardware are brand new, got everything 3-4 days ago, if there's something wrong then it came straight from the store and I will have to use warranty support.

Strange is that it is only happening with steam games like CS:GO when CS Source will work. Tried with Reloaded's Mass Effect 3 and no crashs, temperature is perfect after 2 hours gameplay.

I've tried instructions from 0x124 thread, all drivers and dx3d were clean reinstalled and I changed memory pins.

Maybe my corsair dominator 2x4gb is not right. It's supposed to be 1600mhz but BIOS only accepts 1066 on auto, had to manually change to 1333 since 1600 (the real clock) won't boot the AMD FX4170.

Any suggestions? =\

The problem was solved by upgrading the BIOS of motherboard, in my case Gigabyte.

I've learned there is a known glitch that occurs with AMDs FX/Bulldozer and Steam that causes the crash. After update its fine.

Thanks for the support!!

Glad you got it sorted & thanks for posting back.

Wait and see if you're crashing, if you don't come back and mark this thread as solved.
