Hello all,

My wife's laptop (used for work only) seems to BSOD when connected to her office internet/intranet through the ethernet cable.

I have tried downloading latest drivers for the card (Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030) but it still crashes.

Before I tell her to stop using the ethernet connection I was hoping someone might have some advice.

Here is all the data from the SF Diagnostic Tool

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Kind regards,

Mardrus

Hello Mardrus, Welcome to SF

Had a look at your dump files and they are all identical and blame the crashes on igdkmd64.sys which is your intel gfx driver

I would try updating this driver, if already latest try reinstalling and if that fails try rolling back to previous

If problems are only recent being caused by driver update then a system restore to a point before problems started may be the easiest option

Hello Pauly,

Thanks for your answer.

Problem has been going on for a while even after I tried various solutions which didn't work leading me to think it was related to the ethernet (haven't been able to get BSOD at home but made it happen at wife's office).

I have now removed the intel gfx drivers and have let Win 7 reinstall what it considers best.

I have told the wife to plug it in at the office tomorrow and hopefully everything will work perfectly.

I will close thread if blue screens do not reappear.

In all cases the wife also says thank you for the time and help.

Sorry for this late update.

After reinstalling video drivers I sent my wife to the office with the computer and it BSOD'd another 8 times in that day.

I have asked her to work at home for 2 days with it and it has not BSOD'd in the past days.

So I still have a feeling it must relate somehow to her work network.

Thanks for any further suggestions

Mardrus
