BSOD on Shutdown

I have recently purchased a Toshiba A660 laptop and removed most of the junk that comes with the pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Every time I try to shutdown it takes about 15mins on the shutdown screen the I get a BSOD with the DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE message.

Not sure if it is something that I have removed or should have removed that is causing the BSOD.
Any help would be appreciated and it seems that from the other posts in this forum, your diagnostic skills are very good.

There is a HDD Protection Program installed on your computer. Uninstall it and download the latest version from the Toshiba's Website.

I see some outdated drivers from your computer. Outdated drivers can cause BSOD. You must update it. DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Driver Function. If you cannot find the driver, associated with the program. Post back with a reply and someone will try to find it for you.

Uninstall your current anti-virus and replace with MS Security Essentials. Third-Party Anti-Virus can conflict with Windows 7.

Uninstall your current firewall and replace with Windows Firewall. Third-Party Firewall can conflict with Windows 7.
